press release writing servicesPress Release Writing Service from Wordfeeder.com

Searching for good old fashioned exposure for your business? A press release may be the answer.

Part of becoming a household name involves generating "good buzz" around your business. As you've probably noticed, the world is hungry for stories. These days, your Average Joe or Jane business could well be the next sensation with everyone from Oprah to the New York Times to Ladies' Home Journal to USA Today.

Now, I can't guarantee that Wordfeeder will get you there. I'm not a PR guru and don't pretend to be. But what I do have is a pretty strong gift for writing press releases that really stick out in the pile. You may just want to pair my press release writing service with the reach of a good publicist. It's a win-win for everyone!

What's a press release?

A press release is a written news announcement about your company. It's aimed at the media, with the intention of having a reporter take interest in your story and want to write about you in an upcoming news feature.

Depending on who sees your press release and how exciting, relevant and timely your news is, you could potentially be interviewed for anything from small trade publications to magazines to local television shows. (Just a warning though... it's pretty crowded out there in the world of PR news. You may not get a feature story - but you're still getting your name out there in the PR pipeline. That's the important part.)

How will a press release work to bring me more clients and sales?

A press release generates positive media attention about you and your company. Once people start recognizing their name, they'll begin to view you as a credible source and come to your website for info. If you don't have a website, then they'll be calling you up. But in this day and age, I really recommend that every business owner have a website. It's how people find you and it just looks more professional.

What do I need to provide to have my press release written quickly?

Give Dina at Wordfeeder.com all the basics of the story: the Who, What, When, Where, How, and Why of your press release. Also include at least one quote from an expert within your company, and at least one client testimonial.

Even if you don't think your story is any great shakes... chances are that I'll be able to spin it to an audience and inject some life into the piece. The idea of course, is to position you as an authority (because you ARE one - people just don't know that yet).

Where to publish my company press releases?

Publish your company press releases in three places:

1. On the major PR networks online

2. On a Press Room or Media Room of your website

3. Send them to media contacts via mail or email

(note: I do not have access to lists of media contacts. You will have to either buy these yourself, or have a publicity pro do this work for you.)

What about a Press Kit or Media Room for my website?

Wordfeeder can develop Press Room content for your site that will give media professionals easy access to your information.
