How and Why to Get Bulk Articles for Your Niche Based Website
Lots of folks out there are creating niche websites with the intention
of monetizing them in various ways. Even if you're already making a good
living via a consulting or coaching website, it makes sense to branch
out and earn some passive income by publishing a collection of articles
that speak to a single genre.
Think about it: let's say you coach with a focus on healthy living. Sure,
you have your coaching website... but what about leveraging your reputation
and putting that good name of yours on a website about Yoga, or Meditation,
or Nutrition, in addition to your coaching site?
This is a win-win no matter how you look at it. People who are searching
for ways to be healthier will read the articles and come to know your
name by them. People who already recognize and respect who you are may
one day learn that you also publish informative articles about (nutrition,
yoga, fill in the blank). In other words: your name helps build the credibility
of what you say, and what you say helps build up your good name.
From here, your enhanced reputation can also earn you some passive income
as you make ready to publish your first guide to healthy living. Meanwhile,
your niche health sites are earning you some affiliate income, and even
some passive Adsense dollars.
Do you see how, in addition to being a consultant, coach, or having some
other type of service-oriented business online, it also makes sense to
specialize in one or two niche-specific areas of expertise?
Okay: so we agree that you need to build your name within a specific
niche. Now comes hard part: where will you get all of that content to
fill up the websites that you intend to monetize?
In creating bulk content for the web, you have several options.
These are:
1. Write the content, piece by piece, on your own –
and build up a name for yourself within a niche, very slowly for many
years.
2. Hire a team of low-cost writers to pump out the artices
for you, and pay them at a bulk rate. One of the less promising options,
due to the fact that pumped out articles frequently result in low-quality,
"fluff" content that no one wants to read.
3. Purchase a collection of private-label rights articles,
and spend a fair amount of time editing them so that they become "yours"
(instead of just a duplication of the same exact content someone else
bought and used on their website).
4. Hire a high-end web writer or copywriter to write
original, high quality articles for you at a discounted bulk rate.
5. Purchase private-label rights articles, and then
pay a professional copy editor to improve the writing as well as turn
them into your own content.
No matter which of the above options you decide on, you want your website
content to sound professional and offer good information to the reader
while conveying clear meaning. I've come across many of those bulk packages
of content, either in private-label form or the original ones that are
speed-produced for a client on short notice. They don't fool me, they
don't impress me, they aren't helpful or interesting, and I'm surely not
going to fork over my hard-earned dollars to purchase what will most likely
be an equally unimpressive product or service they're trying to pitch.
That said, you can still take your time considering the above options
for getting bulk content; but while we're here, let's talk about how it's
done. Read on for Part 2: How
to write a good web article in 5 simple steps.
