The summer is winding down to a close. Folks are back in the office and powering up the search engines, hunting for what you have.

Is your marketing dressed and ready for fall?

In honor of back to school, I've revived Copywriting Boot Camp for the second year in a row. Scroll down to get the full story.

Editing and Writing Tips that Will Have Your Book or E-book Flying off the Shelves

by Dina Giolitto

So you're writing an e-book, or maybe even a real book, to enhance your line of coaching or other products? And you've arranged for a professional editor to take the red pen to your draft? Good, I'm so pleased to hear this. Your book will be in print, circulating indefinitely. That's a BIG deal.

A book or e-book will make huge forward strides for you and your personal brand. Your name and reputation is attached to this work, so you REALLY want to make sure the copy is super-tight. Not to mention there is a huge selling advantage to clear, clean writing. It's just more effective at keeping people alert and interested in what you have to say.

Thinking About Your Business In Terms of the Big Picture

I market my business on the web, same as you. Just like you, I rely on specific means of advertising to push my name out there.

One thing I KNOW that limits me is tunnel vision: "This month, funds feel tight so I'm going to skip the advertising." Do you market your business one episode at a time, or do you plan for the long term?

Let's say you wanted to use informative articles to help promote your business. You're feeling bold, so you reach out to a copywriter with skills and pay $140 to have one article professionally written.

That's better than doing nothing. But wouldn't it make so much more sense to get that copywriter working for you at a bulk rate? When you plan for the long-term, your output and exposure is much greater, and you pay far less per article for the same level of expertise.

Any savvy consultant would be willing to negotiate pricing with you on a bulk package of articles. Think of how much MORE exposure you could be getting. Think of how many others out there do exactly what you do. Maybe you "do it better," but if you're not visible, how would anyone know?

Don't waste another minute. Get help developing a plan to leverage the power of advertising for your business. This is big-brand mentality. So many companies strategize their advertising because IT REALLY WORKS TO BRING THEM CUSTOMERS.

Untame Your Marketing: Boot Camp is Back!

If you're seriously considering the field of advertising copywriting, it's worth getting an inside peek at what will be expected of you via these drills. In Web Copy Gone Wild Boot Camp, I reveal the exact methods I use to create professional websites and marketing materials for my clients every single day.

Who can benefit from Web Copy Gone Wild Copywriting Boot Camp?

  • Copywriters-in-training and new writers who want to get a leg up on their competitors
  • People considering a degree in advertising and writing
  • Small business owners who want to "do it themselves"
  • Writers who want to cross over into the realm of advertising
  • Advertising professionals who would like to retrain toward a possible future promotion

Why "attend" copywriting boot camp?

  • Nab the techniques. Class covers the how-to's of persuasive copywriting that sells.
  • Hone your skills. Our hands-on exercises are imaginative and inspiring.
  • Create real-life copy on the fly. Lessons double as a branding kit for your business.
  • Do them on your own time. Classes arrive once per week for 7 weeks via email.
  • Test the waters. A great way to experience a day in the working life of a copywriter.
  • Justify higher fees. Why make $25 per hour when you can make $100 per hour?
  • Get personal support. Receive assistance and feedback on your lessons via email.

This September, why not do something great for your mind, your business or career, and your future?
