Dina
Giolitto has been writing ad copy
since age nine, when she arbitrarily picked up a Hammecher-Schlemmer
catalog and began editing it "for fun." While
other children were outside playing kickball and TV
Tag, Dina and her best buddy were busy singing hokey,
made-up advertising jingles into a tape recorder. Fast
forward 13 years, Dina graduated from the University
of Scranton in 1995 with a BA in Communication, formal
education in copywriting, and a strong desire to make
her mark in the advertising world.
Dina spent the better part of her
career writing and editing for a well-known Fortune
500 company where she worked full-time in the copywriting
department, moving up the ranks to a position of seniority.
She honed her skill there for seven years until she
got tired of watching her coworkers become victims of
corporate downsizing. In 2003, she was at a crossroads.
Should she relocate with the company and shoot for a
management position? Or, quit her job and broaden her
writing repetoire? Dina opted to move on, and briefly
dipped her toe into the pharmaceutical copywriting waters.
For a while, she floated from ad agency to ad agency
and worked for her first dot-com. Then, a personal friend
and life coach encouraged her to take her talent to
the world of online advertising. Wordfeeder.com
Copywriting and Marketing was born.
Today, Dina helps companies of varying
sizes take their marketing effort to the next level
with crisp, compelling copy that makes them stand out
in a sea of competitors. When asked about online business,
